Port Intruder Kit Head Saver and Flow Enhancer

Self Racing Heads and Brodix have teamed up together to help the racing world with a common cylinder head problem.  Today's high horsepower engines are so demanding for high flow cylinder heads that when max ported, cracking occurs in some areaas of of the intake port and the cylinder head deck.  The Port Intruder Kit not only helps prevent cracks from occurring, but also allows the active intake port walls to be moved, achieving an improved flow by moving the head bolt out of the way.
The flow enhancer/Port Intruder Kit allows the common wall between the two intake ports to be ported to the max without the head bolt intruding into the port.  This will eliminate head bolt hole sleeves!  The intake port common wall can be completelly flat or straight.
Another benefit is the improved clamping force of the head bolt.  This is achieved directly on the deck of the head, helping to reduce cracking in this aarea.  The Port Intruder Kit consists of all plugs and components.  The head must be machined to accomodate the flow enhancers.  An optional installation service is offered from Brodix with the purchase of new Brodix Cylinder Heads.  For your own installation, we have enclosed a set of complete instructions with the kit.  Additional porting is required.  Available for all Brodix heads, GM 18°, as well as other brands.   this kit is truly an innovation in the racing industry for big and small block engines!
